About This Scheme

The scheme All Goa Classical Dance Competition by the Art, Culture and Museums Department, Goa, is open for Bharatnatyam and Kathak disciplines. Only solo dance will be considered for the competition. Costumes and accompanists are to be arranged by the participants at their own cost. Local students in the age group of 12 and 20 years can participate.

  • Each participant will receive ₹500/- (lump sum) towards travel expenses, along with one accompanist.

How to Apply

IIn-person

Step 1: The interested applicant should request the prescribed format of the application form free of charge from the Kala Academy, Block A, 2nd Floor, Campal Trade Centre, Campal, Panaji, Goa.

Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, within the prescribed period (if any), to the Member Secretary, Kala Academy, Goa.

Authority for Redressal of Grievances: Member Secretary/Chairman, Kala Academy, Goa.

*Applications in the prescribed format will also be invited through the local newspapers
