About This Scheme

The scheme Appointment of Contract Sports Coaches was launched by the Department of Sports, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to appoint sports coaches on a contract basis to ensure the smooth functioning of local training camps for various sports across the state.

How to Apply

IIn-person
  • The department organizes local training camps for various sports every year. To ensure the smooth functioning of these camps, sports coaches are appointed on a contractual basis.
  • At the district level, applications for conducting local training camps are submitted by the District Sports Officers.
  • Each year, a notification regarding the scheme is published in daily newspapers, usually in the month of March. The training camps are then organized for a maximum duration of 11 months, from 15th April to 15th March.
