About This Scheme

The Death Assistance scheme, implemented by the Bihar Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (BBOCWWB) under the Labour Resources Department, Government of Bihar, provides financial assistance to the legal heir in the case of natural death or accidental death of the registered worker. If the death occurs during a disaster and a grant has already been given by Disaster Management, only ₹1,00,000/- will be payable by the Board.

  • ₹4,00,000/- in the case of accidental death.
  • ₹1,00,000/- if disaster aid is already received.

Eligibility

    The deceased construction worker should have been registered with the Bihar Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (BBOCWWB).
