Required Documents

- ✦Proof of residence (certificate confirming 5 years’ residence in the state)

- ✦Affidavit stating that both partners are not income tax payers, are not involved in any criminal activities, and do not have any previous spouse alive

How to Apply
IIn-person
- At present, applications for this scheme are submitted offline. The application form can be obtained from the office of the Assistant Social Welfare Officer or downloaded from the departmental website (https://socialwelfare.uk.gov.in). The duly filled application form, in the prescribed format, must be submitted to the office of the Assistant Social Welfare Officer."
- The following documents must be attached with the application form: Aadhaar card of the couple, Disability Certificate, Copy of U.D.I. card, Permanent residence certificate / certificate confirming residence in the state for at least 5 years, Copy of bank account statement, Copy of marriage registration certificate, Affidavit (stating that the applicant is not an income tax payer, not involved in any criminal activities, and does not have any living spouse from before)
- The applications will be verified by the Assistant Social Welfare Officer and forwarded to the District Social Welfare Officer with recommendations based on eligibility. At the district level, the District Committee will review the application, and upon approval, the incentive amount will be provided to the applicant as per rules.
