About This Scheme

The "Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Meritorious Student Award Scheme" was launched by the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, to encourage students from the Scheduled Caste category to achieve high academic scores and motivate them to pursue higher education. This scheme awards special prizes to meritorious Scheduled Caste students who secure the highest marks in the Class 10th and 12th board examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, and ICSE in the state.

  • 1st prize (Boy/Girl): ₹30,000/-
  • 2nd prize (Boy/Girl): ₹25,000/-
  • 3rd prize (Boy/Girl): ₹20,000/-
  • 4th prize (Only Girl): ₹15,000/-
  • 5th prize (Only Girl): ₹10,000/-
  • 6th prize (Only Girl): ₹5,000/-

Awards for securing the highest marks in the Class 12th Board examinations:

  • 1st prize (Boy/Girl): ₹51,000/-
  • 2nd prize (Boy/Girl): ₹40,000/-
  • 3rd prize (Boy/Girl): ₹30,000/-
  • 4th prize (Only Girl): ₹20,000/-
  • 5th prize (Only Girl): ₹15,000/-
  • 6th prize (Only Girl): ₹10,000/-

Note: Payments are made into the bank accounts of the applicants.

How to Apply

IIn-person

  • Students studying in the school must submit their applications to the head of the institution.
  • In the institute or hostel where the student is admitted, the head of the institute or superintendent will complete the necessary formalities upon receiving the application.
