Under this scheme, phased financial assistance linked to educational milestones is provided to eligible girl children to support their academic journey from birth to higher education.

- ₹11,000 deposited with milestone ‘B’, redeemable at 18 or 21 years
School Education Milestones
- ₹5,000 at admission in Class I (Milestone ‘O’)
- ₹5,000 at admission in Class VI (Milestone ‘S’)
- ₹5,000 at admission in Class IX (Milestone ‘N’)
- ₹5,000 at admission in Class XI or Polytechnic/ITI after Class X (Milestone ‘t’)
- ₹5,000 at admission in Class XII (Milestone ‘T’)
Higher Education / Skill Development
- ₹10,000 for 1-year Diploma (Milestone ‘D’)
- ₹20,000 for 2-year Diploma (₹10,000 each year – Milestones ‘d1’ and ‘d2’)
- ₹20,000 for 3-year Diploma (₹5,000 + ₹5,000 + ₹10,000 – Milestones ‘D1’, ‘D2’, ‘D3’)
- ₹20,000 for 3-year Graduation (₹5,000 + ₹5,000 + ₹10,000 – Milestones ‘G1’, ‘G2’, ‘G3’)
- ₹25,000 for 4-year Graduation (₹5,000 + ₹5,000 + ₹5,000 + ₹10,000 – Milestones ‘H1’, ‘H2’, ‘H3’, ‘H4’)
Conditions
- The financial assistance is non-transferable and non-refundable
- The amount cannot be withdrawn prematurely
- No loan or credit facility is allowed against the deposited amount
- The girl must remain unmarried until 18 years of age
- Immunization compliance is mandatory at all stages
- Failure to renew milestones may lead to the discontinuation of benefits
Mode of Disbursement
- Funds are deposited in the name of the girl child
- Managed through an authorized banking partner
- Final maturity amount is credited to the Aadhaar-linked bank account
- Valid until completion of milestones or attainment of 21 years

Required Documents
- ✦Proof Of Residence (Ration Card / Voter Identity Card / Other Valid Proof Showing 3 Years Residence)
- ✦Birth Certificate of the Girl Child (issued by Registrar (Births & Deaths) of the National Capital Territory of Delhi)
- ✦Joint Photograph of the Parents and Girl Child
- ✦Self- declaration by the parents regarding family's annual income and marital status of the girl
- ✦Admission Certificate/ Bonafide Certificate (from a Govt./MCD/NDMC or Govt. recognised school/ Government recognised & affiliated university/college/institutions affiliated/recognized by UGC/ or any other government body any other Government body.
- ✦Certificate From Principal (For Delhi Private School Students, Attested By District Education Officer)
- ✦Immunization Certificate as per Government Norms

How to Apply
Step 01: The parent/guardian should visit the "Delhi Lakhpati Bitiya Scheme" official website.
Step 02: Click on the "Sign Up for Parent or Guardian."
Step 03: Fill out the registration form: parent/guardian name, mobile number, email ID, etc.
Step 04: Enter the captcha code and submit.
Application Process:Step 01: Log in to the official portal using the registered mobile number and captcha.
Step 02: The applicant should fill in the complete application form with details such as personal information, family income, educational details, and Aadhaar information.
Step 03: The applicant should upload all required documents, including birth certificate, residence proof, Aadhaar, and school certificates.
NOTE:- The applicant should submit the application within the prescribed timeline, that is within 1 year of birth or 90 days from admission at any milestone.
- Upon completion of Class XII and attaining 18 years, or completion of graduation/diploma and attaining 21 years, the maturity process will be initiated.
- The final accumulated amount will be credited directly into the Aadhaar-linked bank account of the girl child.
