About This Scheme

The Financial Assistance to Helpless Artists scheme was launched by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to provide financial security to artists who are aged, physically disabled, and living in extreme poverty. Under this scheme, monthly financial assistance is provided to artists and their dependents who are physically disabled, above 60 years of age, have a monthly income of less than ₹600, and are unable to sustain themselves due to age or disability.

How to Apply

IIn-person

Step 1: The interested applicant should write the application on plain paper.

Step 2: Attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required) along with the application.

Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application along with the documents to the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department.
