Benefits

Under this scheme:
- The maximum grant for setting up new community radio stations will be ₹20 lakh or the actual cost incurred in establishing the radio station, whichever is lower.
- New community radio stations will be provided an operational grant of ₹4 lakh per year for three years.

How to Apply
IIn-person
- To receive applications for setting up community radio stations, the State Disaster Management Authority issues advertisements inviting proposals from interested organizations.
- 50% of the approved amount is released as the first installment, while the remaining 50% is disbursed upon submission of the utilization certificate.
- Organizations intending to set up a new community radio station must submit their applications, along with all required documents, to the office of the Secretary, State Disaster Management Authority.
- Applications for establishing new community radio stations may be submitted at any time during the financial year.
