Under this scheme to motivate the growers to bring more area under irrigation and land development by constructing rain water harvesting structures for increasing the productivity and improving quality of small cardamom.

1. 33.33 % of cost of construction subject to a maximum of ₹18,000 per structure for General and 75% subject to maximum of ₹40,000 /- per structure for SC/ST.
1. The above assistance will be for a structure of 200 cu. Mt. capacity lined with silpauline sheet. For lesser capacity the assistance will be limited proportionate to the water holding capacity.
1. Devices can be for harvesting water from direct rainfall as well as surface run off without blocking the natural flow of water including streams.
1. Registered cardamom growers having land holding size of 0.10 Ha to 8 Ha
