About This Scheme

The "Implementation of Scheme for Providing Implements/Machinery on Subsidy to the Farmers of Scheduled Caste Category (SB-89)" has been launched by the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, Government of Haryana. The scheme aims to promote agricultural mechanization among Scheduled Caste farmers, increase their income, generate employment opportunities, and make them eligible for other mechanization schemes where tractor ownership is mandatory. > Scheme Implementation: The scheme is implemented by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Haryana, through the District Level Executive Committee (DLEC), Deputy Directors of Agriculture, and Assistant Agriculture Engineers.

Benefits

Subsidy for Purchase of Tractor

Financial assistance in the form of subsidy is provided for the purchase of a tractor.

The tractor must have a minimum power of 35 Horsepower (HP).

The farmer may purchase a tractor of any make from the list of empanelled manufacturers.

The subsidy amount is released after purchase, verification, and approval by the competent authority.

Conditions Related to Benefits

The selected farmer must purchase the tractor within 15 days of selection.

The tractor must be physically verified by the committee constituted by the District Level Executive Committee.

The beneficiary cannot sell or transfer the tractor for 5 years from the date of purchase.

If the tractor is sold before the completion of 5 years, the beneficiary must refund the subsidy amount along with applicable interest.

How to Apply

The applicant should be registered on the Meri Fasal Mera Byora (MFMB) Portal. The applicant should submit the application through the SARAL Portal within the prescribed period. The applicant should possess a valid Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP). The applicant should have a valid bank account for receiving subsidy. The applicant should possess a valid Permanent Account Number (PAN). The applicant should possess a valid Aadhaar Number.
