INDIRAMMA Weavers Pension (Urban)
"INDIRAMMA Weavers Pension (Urban)" scheme aims to provide monthly pensions to destitute weavers aged 50 years or above. To be eligible, they should be from a BPL family, and be a resident of Andhra Pradesh. The eligible individuals will be identified by their respective Ward Sabhas.

Benefits
Pension Amount: The scale of benefit under the pension will be notified by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Mode of Disbursement: The Bill Collector disburses the pension to the eligible individuals in the presence of Ward members and office bearers of DWCUA.
Time of Disbursement: The pension is disbursed on the first date of every month.

How to Apply
Step 1: Identification of Eligible Persons
The Ward Sabha identifies eligible persons based on the eligibility criteria. A ward-wise register of eligible persons is maintained by the Bill Collector.
Step 2: Recommendation and Sanction
The Bill Collector sends Ward Sabha resolution recommending eligible persons to the Municipal Commissioner. The Municipal Commissioner scrutinizes eligibility and sanctions pensions based on municipality-wise allocation.
Step 3: Disbursement of Pensions
The Project Director (DRDA) sends pension acquittance list and funds to Municipal Commissioners. The Municipal Commissioner issues cheques to Bill Collectors. The Bill Collector disburses pensions to pensioners in the presence of Ward members and DWCUA office bearers.
