How to Apply

OOnline
The Ministry of Home Affairs invites nominations annually in June.

Step 01: The applicant’s organization prepares and submits nomination.

Step 02: The applicant should visit the National Awards Portal (https://www.awards.gov.in) (except the Intelligence field).

Step 03: The applicant should register and fill the online application form.

Step 04: The applicant should upload all required documents and supporting evidence.

Selection Process

Step 01: The proposals are screened at the State/Organization level by a committee.

Step 02: The shortlisted nominations are sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Step 03: A Sub-Committee scrutinizes applications at the central level.

Step 04: Final selection is done by a Ministry-level committee.

NOTE:
  • Intelligence nominations are submitted in sealed physical form.
