Mukhyamantri Ayushman Aarogya Yojana
The Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana, launched on 1 May 2021, aims to reduce medical expenses by offering free treatment for 1,798 procedures in government and empanelled private hospitals. Eligible NFSA, SECC 2011 families, contract workers, small farmers, and others can avail benefits.
About This Scheme
Benefits
Under the Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana, along with the eligible families of NFSA and SECC currently benefiting from it, contractual workers, small and marginal farmer families and destitute and helpless families who received Covid-19 ex-gratia amount last year will get free insurance cover and apart from these categories, other remaining families of the state can join the scheme on payment of premium amount of Rs 850/- and the remaining 50 percent premium amount will be borne by the state government.
Free range family:
Farmers (Small and Marginal) of the State, eligible beneficiary families under the State Food Security Act (NFSA), eligible families as per Socio Economic Census (SECC) 2011
Contract workers - Contract workers working in all departments/boards/corporations/government companies of the state.
Destitute and helpless families receiving COVID-19 ex-gratia payment from the state government
Fee: Nil.
Fixed premium family
Those other families of the state who are not government employees/pensioners, i.e. are not taking benefits under the Medical Attendance Rules, can join the scheme by paying the prescribed premium.
