About This Scheme

The "Mukhyamantri Apprenticeship Yojana (MAY)", launched in 2018-19 by the Labour and Employment Department, Gujarat, seeks to create a robust ecosystem for skill development through "on-the-job" and "off-the-job" training. The scheme aligns with national initiatives like the "National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS)" and the "National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS)", targeting to engage 1 lakh youth in apprenticeships.
