Mizoram Grant-in-Aid to Voluntary Organisations and Individuals
The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to voluntary organizations and individuals to support welfare activities for disadvantaged and marginalized groups such as women, children, disabled persons, elderly, and socially vulnerable individuals.

> Financial Assistance:
Up to 75% of project cost supported by Government.

> Support for Welfare Services:
Funding for women, children, disabled, elderly, and vulnerable groups.
Support for rehabilitation, shelter, healthcare, and skill training.
> Infrastructure & Equipment:
Grants for purchase of equipment, furniture, and infrastructure.

Up to ₹3,00,000/- for non-recurring assets (over 3 years).
> Individual Assistance:
Financial aid for destitute individuals.

Support for small self-employment ventures (up to ₹75,000/-).
> Special Benefits:
Disability pension, stipend, and unemployment allowance.
Maintenance support for homes and institutions.

Required Documents
- ✦A copy of The Constitution of the Association, its articles memorandum, and its aims and objectives.
- ✦Audited Statement of Accounts for the last three years.
- ✦Annual Report for the last three years.
- ✦Names of the Member of Managing Body of the Organization.
- ✦Information relating to the grant received or likely to be received from the Department of Social Welfare or any other body including local bodies or voluntary organizations. If any applications are pending with these organizations for similar grant ,the details in this regard should be given.
- ✦A statement of full receipt and expenditure of the organization/institution for the last three years and a copy of the balance-sheet for the previous year. These should be certified by an appropriate government authority.

How to Apply
Applications (ANNEXURE IV) for Grant-In-Aid should be sent to the Director through the following officers/ persons: District Social Welfare Officers. Child Development Project Officers Note: An application for Grant-In-Aid for a particular year should ordinarily reach the department by 30th June of that year. The application received after this date will be considered only subject to the availability of fund.
