The "Mukhyamantri Dairy Plus Programme (Provision of 02 Murrah Buffaloes on Subsidy)" scheme is implemented by the Animal Husbandry Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The scheme aims to enhance milk production, promote improved livestock breeding, and support small and marginal livestock farmers by providing two high genetic quality, pregnant Murrah buffaloes (five months or more), each yielding an average of 8 to 10 liters of milk per day, on a subsidy basis to ensure early productivity.

Benefits

> Subsidy Process:

General Category: 50% subsidy and 50% beneficiary contribution.

Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Scheduled Caste farmers: 75% subsidy and 25% beneficiary contribution.

Provision of 2 Murrah Buffaloes with high genetic quality, each yielding 8–10 liters of milk daily.

Pregnant buffaloes (5 months or more) are provided to ensure immediate milk production.
