About This Scheme

The "Mukhyamantri Kalyani Vivah Sahayta Yojana" was launched by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The aim to provide social security and financial support to widowed women at the time of their remarriage. Under this scheme, a one-time financial assistance is deposited into the beneficiary’s savings bank account to help ensure economic stability and dignified reintegration into family life.

  • Permanent Resident Certificate of the applicant and her husband
  • Samagra ID (9-digit) of the applicant and her husband
  • Age Proof of the applicant and her husband
  • Bank Passbook Copy of the applicant with account number and IFSC code clearly visible
  • Aadhaar Card of the applicant and her husband (if available)
  • Marriage Certificate issued by a competent authority
  • Death Certificate of the applicant’s previous husband
  • Affidavit by Kalyani stating that the deceased mentioned in the said death certificate was indeed the applicant's husband
  • Self-Declaration for Non-Income Taxpayer Status by the applicant
  • Self-Declaration for Non-Government Employee Status by the applicant
  • Self-Declaration for Non-Receipt of Family Pension by the applicant
  • Self-Declaration by Husband stating that he does not have any living wife (if applicable)
  • Two passport-size photographs of each of the applicant and her husband
  • Joint Photograph of the Couple taken during the marriage ceremony
