Mukhyamantri Majdur Suraksha Yojana provides registered rural and agriculture-based labourers in Madhya Pradesh with maternity assistance, scholarships for children, insurance cover and wage-loss compensation. Ensures social security for unorganised workers’ families.
About This Scheme
Benefits
1. Maternity Leave Assistance –
45 days’ wage equivalent for registered female workers or wives of registered workers (first two deliveries).
15 days’ wage equivalent for fathers (paternity leave).
1. Maternity Expense Assistance –
Institutional deliveries covered under Janani Suraksha Yojana.
₹500
₹500/- aid for home deliveries of below-poverty-line women.
Managed by the Public Health & Family Welfare Department.
1. Medical Assistance –
Coverage under Deendayal Antyodaya Upchar Yojana and State Illness Assistance Scheme.
Child heart-disease treatment under Mukhyamantri Bal Hriday Upchar Yojana.
1. Scholarship / Student Award –
Children of registered beneficiaries belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, or General Category will receive scholarships under respective departmental schemes.
Beneficiaries covered under Aam Aadmi Bima Yojana whose two children are studying in Classes 9–12 will receive educational scholarships through Life Insurance Corporation (LIC).
Disabled children of registered workers with a disability of 40% or more will be eligible for disability scholarships.
1. Marriage Assistance –
Financial support for first marriage of registered workers’ daughters aged 18 + under Mukhyamantri Kanyadan/Nikah Yojana.

How to Apply
Registration - On the recommendation of the Gram Panchayat, it will be done by the Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat within a period of 7 days. The registration fee will be Rs. 10/-, which will be deposited in the Gram Panchayat and at the end of every year, the details of the deposited amount will be sent to the Commissioner, Social Justice through the Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat.
