About This Scheme

"Manabik" Scheme was launched by the Department of Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, Government of West Bengal. This scheme is designed to provide financial support to individuals who are unable to work due to a disability. The aim is to assist individuals in maintaining a reasonable standard of living despite their inability to engage in gainful employment.

Financial Assistance: An amount of ₹1,000/- per Month through DBT mode to the beneficiaries.

Eligibility

Note: You may be eligible based on the information shown. Please verify the official eligibility requirements before applying.

•
Applicant must be a disable person with 40% of disability.
•
Applicant must be a resident of the state namely West Bengal for not less than 10 Years on the date of making application for Pension.
•
Family income of the beneficiary should not exceed ₹1,00,000/- (One thousand) per month.
•
The differently abled person should be declared unsuitable for physical work by the respective Medical officer.

How to Apply

IIn-person

Obtain the Application Form: Collect the Pension Application Form free of cost from the appropriate office:

Rural Areas: BDO Office or the concerned Panchayat Samity Office.
Municipal/Notified Areas (Outside KMC): SDO Office.
KMC Area: Office of the Controller of Vagrancy, West Bengal.

Submit the Application: Fill out the application form and submit it to the appropriate authority:

Rural Areas: Address it to the District Magistrate and submit it to the BDO or Panchayat Samity Office.
Municipal/Notified Areas (Outside KMC): Address it to the District Magistrate and submit it to the SDO.
KMC Area: Address and submit it to the Controller of Vagrancy, West Bengal.
