Self-Employment Scheme for Unemployed Minority Communities
The scheme aims to provide a grant of 25% of the loan amount (for loans ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹10 lakh) to individuals belonging to minority communities, who are permanent residents of Uttarakhand, for the purpose of self-employment.

Under this scheme, a grant is provided for self-employment. On taking a loan of ₹1 lakh to ₹10 lakh, a grant of 25% of the loan amount is given, with a minimum grant of ₹25,000/- and a maximum of ₹2,50,000/-.
The benefit of the scheme is available only on taking a loan, in which 60% of the project cost is provided as a loan, 25% as grant/subsidy by the department, and 15% as contribution by the applicant.
Interest on the loan will be charged according to the current prevailing rates of the bank.
