About This Scheme

The "NDRI Institute Scholarship for M.Sc. and Ph.D. Programmes" is implemented by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare to provide financial assistance to Indian students admitted to Master's and Doctoral programmes at the National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI). The scholarship is available only to students who do not receive any other financial assistance or scholarship from any source. Financial support is provided in the form of monthly scholarships during the prescribed duration of the academic programme. Continuation of the scholarship is subject to academic performance, course registration requirements, submission of progress reports, and compliance with institutional rules and regulations. No extension of scholarship is granted beyond the prescribed period.

Step 1: Obtain admission to the eligible Master's or Doctoral programme at NDRI.

Step 2: Submit the Acceptance of the Award in the prescribed format.

Step 3: Submit the Undertaking to comply with scholarship rules and regulations.

Step 4: Complete registration for all prescribed courses in each semester.

Step 5: Submit periodic Progress Reports as prescribed.

Step 6: Maintain the required academic performance for continuation and renewal of the scholarship.
