About This Scheme

The North East Skill Centre (NESC) is a premier skill development institute in Assam, established as a joint international initiative between the Government of Assam and the Government of Singapore. Operating under the aegis of the Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) and in collaboration with ITE Education Services (ITEES), Singapore, the center is designed to elevate the state's vocational training to international standards. Key Highlights & Capacity - International standards: The curriculum and training frameworks are modeled after Singapore's renowned Technical & Vocational Education Training (TVET) standards to ensure high quality and global employability for the youth of the North East.- Target Capacity: Envisioned to produce 400 trained candidates annually.- Placements: Above 90% and students have already secured prestigious international placements, including locations like Lulu Mall in Dubai.     Educational Qualification & Age Limit: 12th Pass and age between 17 and 25.1. Domicile Reservation: 80% seats are reserved for domiciles of Assam. If reserved seats remain vacant, they may be allotted to students from other states.1. Physical Fitness Requirement: All the Candidates shall be required to submit a Medical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of admission.

REGISTRATION

  • Online Applications open
  • New admissions open every year on a first‑come, first‑served basis after counselling at NESC. The academic session starts in July, and late admissions are permitted till August depending on seat availability.

Candidates must submit original documents during admission:

  1. Medical Fitness Certificate
  2. Character Certificate
  3. Educational Certificates
  4. Age Proof
  5. Passport Size Photos
  6. Online Fee Payment Receipt
  7. Self-attested photocopies of all documents

REGISTRATION, CAUTION MONEY & TUITION FEE

  1. Total Tuition Fee INR 16,200/- (Non-Refundable) per candidate has to be deposited on quarterly basis (@ INR 4050/- × 4).
  2. Caution money INR 1000/- per candidate (one time) has to be deposited at the time of admission. This amount is refundable after completion of the training.
  3. Pupil Fund INR 500/- (Non-Refundable) per candidate has to be deposited at the time of admission.
