About This Scheme

The Nishulk Ganavesh Yojana is a scheme under the Samagra Shiksha Programme, implemented by the Secondary Education Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide free uniforms to all girl students studying in Classes 1 to 8 of government and government-aided schools, as well as to all boys belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, and boys from the General category who fall under the Below Poverty Line category.

Benefits

Under this scheme, two sets of uniforms per student are provided through DBT/SMC to students studying in classes 1 to 8 of government and government-aided schools, covering all girls, all boys belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories, and boys from the General category belonging to BPL families.

Eligibility
