National Mission on Edible Oil- Oil Palm: Drip Irrigation

The scheme component "Drip Irrigation" launched under the "National Mission on Edible Oil–Oil Palm" scheme by the Department of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation, Government of Gujarat, aims to promote oil palm cultivation in Gujarat to meet domestic demand and reduce dependence on imports. The scheme facilitates the installation of drip irrigation systems for farmers, ensuring efficient water use and improved productivity. The subsidy is provided as per the norms of the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY), with differential rates for small & marginal farmers and other farmers.
