The scheme “Procedure for Admission in Government Child Care Institution, Government Communication Home, and Open Shelter Home” has been implemented by the Women Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand. In the institutions and homes, children are provided with free facilities such as clothing, food, accommodation, medical care, counselling, entertainment, training, and education. Along with these facilities, children are also provided day care facility based on their needs.
