The scheme “Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Vigyaan Gram Sankul Pariyojana” is funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and implemented by the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST) under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Uttarakhand. The project aims to promote sustainable rural development through the application of science and technology to enhance livelihoods in selected villages throughout Uttarakhand.
Benefits
Under the project, rural development work is carried out by forming clusters of villages across various districts of the state.
Based on the natural resources available in the selected villages, various units are established to improve farmers' livelihoods through the application of science and technology.
