About This Scheme

The scheme "Production Linked Incentive Support on JDPs" was launched by the National Jute Board, Ministry of Textiles. The scheme aims to make Indian Jute Diversified Products cost-competitive globally, increase market share, attract more entrepreneurs, and increase export values to ₹16,00,00,00,000/- by 2026. The scheme provides a financial incentive by reimbursing five percent of the cost of jute raw material used in manufacturing exported Jute Diversified Products, limited to three percent of the sales value, subject to a maximum of ₹12,00,000/- per unit per annum. The applicant must be a Jute Mill Company or Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise unit set up within India engaged in manufacturing and exporting Jute Diversified Products. The scheme is implemented by the National Jute Board. The applications for this scheme are accepted online.

Benefits

Financial incentive reimbursing 5% of the cost of Jute Raw Material used in manufacturing exported Jute Diversified Products.

The reimbursement is limited to 3% of the sales value of Jute Diversified Products exports, whichever is less.

The maximum financial support provided is ₹12,00,000/- per unit per annum.

##### Disbursement

Payment for all Jute Material purchased and receipt of export proceeds must be made only through electronic means or banks. No cash transactions will be considered for the incentive.

Claims are paid on a quarterly basis within two months of submission, provided the claims are complete in all respects with the required documentation.

If a claimant misses a quarter, they can submit it with the immediate next quarter's claims along with a written explanation.

##### Conditions

The beneficiaries under the scheme must be Aadhaar-seeded.

The claimants must give an undertaking to the National Jute Board that they have not availed nor will they avail of any other incentive on the Jute Diversified Products production and exports on which this incentive has been claimed.

Claimants must update their documents and data at the beginning of every financial year.

Any unit availing the benefits is liable to return the amount of subsidy with interest (at prevailing bank interest rates for commercial loans) if found to have claimed benefits using false or fraudulent documents.

  • Status of Jute Mill Company or Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Unit.
  • Details of Product-Mix Being Produced and Exported.
  • Payment Proof for Employees' Provident Fund and Employees' State Insurance (With Number of Employees).
  • Copy of Goods and Services Tax Return (Filed During Preceding Year).
  • Aadhaar Number of the Proprietor.
  • Copy of Valid Registration Number.
  • Copy of Importer Exporter Code Certificate.
  • Copy of Valid Registration Cum Membership Certificate.
  • Copies of Export Compliance Certificates (Such as CEN, SA8000, SEDEX, GOTS, OEKOTEX, FAIRTRADE, ISO).
  • Self-Certified Copies of Shipping Bill, Bill of Export, Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Postal Receipt, Excise Gate Pass, or Commercial Invoice Cum Packing List.
  • Certified Bank Transaction Details of Proceeds of Exported Jute Diversified Products.
  • Copies of Monthly or Quarterly Export Returns Submitted to Government Authorities.
  • Copies of Purchase Bills or Vouchers for Jute Raw Material.
  • Certified Bank Transaction Details of Raw Material Purchased.
  • Certified Chartered Accountant Reports (Supporting Production and Export Turnover).
  • Audited Annual Accounts (Required Specifically for Fourth Quarter Claims).
