About This Scheme
The "Pre-Matric Scholarship for the Students of Economically Backward Class" was launched by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat. Under this scheme, monetary scholarships are provided to boys and girls studying in government and aided primary schools from Standard 1st to 10th, based on class and gender.

Boys (Std. 1st to 8th): ₹750/- per annum.- Boys (Std. 9th to 10th): ₹1,000/- per annum.- Girls (Std. 1st to 5th): ₹500/- per annum.- Girls (Std. 6th to 10th): ₹1,000/- per annum.
