About This Scheme

The scheme "Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP)" Interventions is an initiative launched by the Government of India with assistance from the World Bank to enhance the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the country. RAMP aims to improve the productivity, competitiveness, and resilience of MSMEs through a comprehensive set of reforms, capacity-building measures, and improved access to finance and market opportunities. The scheme RAMP with Intervention 1: Reimbursement of Energy and Water Audit Fees has been implemented by the Department of Industries, Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. Through this scheme, to promote resource efficiency and sustainability, the UT Administration reimburses eligible MSMEs up to ₹1,00,000/- for conducting Energy or Water Audits through recognised agencies. This intervention aims to support at least 300 MSMEs for Energy Audits and 100 MSMEs for Water Audits.

> Quantum of Assistance Energy or Water Audit Fees:

₹1.0 L

Cost of conducting Energy or Water Audits by recognised institutions or accredited auditing agencies shall be reimbursed up to ₹1.00 lakh or the actual cost incurred, whichever is lower.

This intervention will support at least 300 MSMEs for Energy Audits and 100 MSMEs for Water Audit fees.

> Conditions for Assistance Energy or Water Audit Fees:

Assistance shall be disbursed only upon submission of the audit report issued by the certified Energy/Water Auditor and proof of payment made to the accredited auditing agency.

Enterprises classified as Small or Medium under the MSME definition are eligible to apply for reimbursement of energy audit and water audit fees.

  • Udyam Registration Certificate
  • PAN card of the enterprise
  • GST registration certificate
  • Energy/Water Audit Report conducted by a recognised institution or certified auditor
  • Certificate from the auditor confirming:
  • Invoice/bill raised by the auditor
  • Bank payment proof showing the audit fee payment
  • Cancelled Cheque (for RTGS/NEFT)
  • Undertaking/Declaration on non-judicial stamp paper (Annexure-III)
  • Chartered Accountant certified bills
