About This Scheme

The “Financial Assistance for Vocational Training of Widows of Ex-Servicemen (ESM)” scheme has been launched by the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to widows of ex-servicemen to help them become self-reliant through vocational training. The scheme is implemented by the Kendriya Sainik Board.

Eligibility

  • Complete Service Discharge Certificate/Book.
  • Copy of Widow I-Card.
  • Certificate from institute after completion of training.
  • Certificate from ZSWO that widow after vocational training is gainfully employed.
  • Details of Bank A/c No (in PNB/SBI only) and IFS Code
