About This Scheme

The "Skill Development and Training of Candidates in Technical Textiles" scheme under the National Technical Textile Mission by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. This scheme shall be referred to as the “General Guidelines for Skill Development and Training of Candidates in Technical Textiles.” Objectives The main objectives of the scheme are: Establish a reservoir of skilled individuals for recruitment in the technical textiles industry. Develop transferable skills that can be adapted across different companies. Create a robust knowledge and skill ecosystem within the sector. Ensure seamless integration of qualified professionals into diverse roles, promoting a dynamic and agile workforce. Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and adaptability within organizations. Scheme Phases The implementation will be carried out in two phases, targeting strategically important segments of technical textiles: Phase I: Agrotech, Buildtech, Geotech, Indutech, Meditech, Mobiltech, and Protech Phase II: Clothtech, Hometech, Oekotech, Sportech, and Packtech
