The scheme "Self-Employment loan scheme for Minority Widows, Divorcees / Abandoned Women" was introduced by the State Minority Welfare Department, Government of Kerala. Benefits

Financial assistance of up to ₹1,00,000/- as a government subsidy.

₹5.0 L

Maximum loan amount of ₹5,00,000/-.

The interest rate on the loan amount (excluding subsidy) is 6%.

> Conditions/Criteria Associated with Benefits:

₹1.0 L

A 20% subsidy (maximum ₹1,00,000/-) is provided on the loan amount.

₹1.0 L

For a loan amount of ₹1,00,000/-, the subsidy is ₹20,000/-.

₹2.0 L

For a loan amount of ₹2,00,000/-, the subsidy is ₹40,000/-.

₹3.0 L

For a loan amount of ₹3,00,000/-, the subsidy is ₹60,000/-.

₹4.0 L

For a loan amount of ₹4,00,000/-, the subsidy is ₹80,000.

₹5.0 L

For a loan amount of ₹5,00,000/-, the subsidy is ₹1,00,000/-.

_*Direct inspection will be conducted at each stage of disbursement._

_*An additional interest of 6% will be charged for misuse of funds._

  • Caste/Age Certificate (Copy of School Certificate).
  • Certificate proving the applicant is a widow, divorced, or abandoned woman.

  • Permanent Residency Certificate.

  • Non-objection certificate (for employees on deputation, from the parent department).
  • Employment certificate (salary certificate) (only for those providing a guarantee).
  • Original deed of the property.
  • Adiadharam/Pattayam.
  • Property tax receipt for the current financial year.
  • Possession certificate (from village office).
  • Non-attachment certificate (from village office).
  • Property valuation certificate (from village office).
  • Property location map.
  • Location certificate (from village office).
  • Kudikkadam certificate for 14 years (from sub-registrar office).
  • Other required documents (if advised by the advocate).
  • Latest Kudikkadam certificate (after signing the agreement, up to the agreement date).
