The scheme aims to provide Social Security and Financial Support for healthy living to those engaged in traditional occupations/businesses and motorcycle pilots. It offers monthly financial assistance of ₹1,000/- to eligible persons of Goan Origin who meet specified age and income criteria.

The financial assistance sanctioned under the Scheme shall be released in the Saving Bank Account of the beneficiaries through Electronic Clearance System (ECS).

- ✦Income Certificate, Issued By The Competent Authority.
- ✦Attested Copy Of Birth Certificate/Proof.
- ✦Attested Copy Of The Aadhaar Card.
- ✦Attested Copy Of The Ration Card.
- ✦Documents Such As Registration Of The Business From Concerned Authorities Showing The Nature Of Traditional Activities Carried Out By The Applicant.
- ✦Attested Copy Of Bank Pass Book (With IFSC/MICR Details).
- ✦A Certificate From The Registered Medical Practitioner Stating That The Applicant Is Medically Fit To Carry Out The Traditional Occupations/Traditional Businesses.
- ✦Affidavit Format For Declaration Of Traditional Occupation/Business (In case the applicant is unable to submit documentary evidence from the concerned authorities regarding his/her traditional business activity).
- ✦Attested Copies Of Ownership Documents Of The Vehicle Such As Registration Certificate, Insurance, Fitness Certificates Of The Vehicle.

How to Apply
The concerned Block Development Officer (B.D.O.) shall verify the details provided by the applicant through the Field Assistant attached to the BDO's office or any other employee working under the BDO’s control. The BDO must then forward the eligible applications, along with a recommendation for sanction, to the Director of Social Welfare.
