About This Scheme
Savitribai Phule Scholarship is a Scholarship Scheme by the Social Justice and Special Assistance Department, Government of Maharashtra. The objective of the scheme is to encourage enrollment and to decrease the dropout ratio of Girls in the education of Maharashtra from Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes (VJNT) and Special Backward Classes (SBC), studying in 8th to 10th standard, the Government has introduced this scheme from the academic year 2003-04.
Benefits

The beneficiary is to provide ₹100/- per month for 10 months i.e. ₹1,000/- for 10 months.
