Required Documents

  • Bank account passbook of the applicant
  • Preliminary report related to the war or incident
  • Part-II Order issued by the Record Office/Director General’s Office regarding the war incident
  • Battle Casualty Certificate of the martyr soldier
  • Dependent Certificate issued by the Record Office/Director General’s Office confirming relationship with the martyr
  • Discharge Book of the martyr (if applicable)
  • Identity card of the dependent applying for the grant
  • Non-payment Certificate issued by the District Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Office, confirming that no ex-gratia has been paid earlier
  • Battle/Operational Casualty Certificate from:
  • Director General of Paramilitary Forces (for paramilitary cases)
  • Director General of Central Armed Police Forces (for CAPF)
