About This Scheme
The "Vats Palan Protsahan Yojana" scheme was launched by the Animal Husbandry Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The scheme aims to improve indigenous Indian high-yielding cattle breeds and encourage the conservation and proper care of calves born from these superior breeds. One-time incentive of ₹5,000 for cows whose milk production is at least 30% higher than the breed average.
₹500 · monthly
Monthly support of ₹500 per calf for feed and medicines, from 0–4 months up to two years of age.
