The scheme aims to improve the driving skills and employability of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates by providing free, high-quality driving training, thereby reducing road accidents and promoting self-employment opportunities.
Under this scheme, training will be provided to vehicle drivers to enhance their driving skills, which will help reduce road accidents and enable them to pursue better self-employment opportunities.
The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
The applicant must belong to a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category.

Interested applicants can submit their applications in the prescribed format (available at the IDTR office) in offline mode at the Institute of Driving and Traffic Research (IDTR), Dehradun.
