Mizoram Sports Incentive Cash Award Scheme
The scheme aims to provide lump sum cash awards and recognition to outstanding sports persons winning medals in national and international competitions.
About This Scheme
Benefits
> Incentive Cash Award:
Lump sum cash award to Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal winners in recognised sports disciplines.
Applicable for National and International Championships, and Invitation Competitions/Tournaments Organized by the Recognised Federation.
The amount of the incentive cash award will be as per the Annexure in the [Official Guidelines](https://sys.mizoram.gov.in/uploads/attachments/2022/09/4e39860f74233bd0ccfccab9d698a156/incentive-cash-award-scheme-2022.pdf) (Refer page no 3, 4, and 5).- Only one award per sports discipline in a championship or tournament.
> Support to Sports Officials:
Officials, Managers, Coaches, Masseurs, Physiotherapists, and Doctors are entitled to 25% of the award amount applicable to the sportsperson.
> Sports Kit Allowance:
₹20.0K
₹20,000/- provided to sports persons of Mizoram representing the country in international competitions.
> Additional Service Benefits:
Award of increment, recruitment, or promotion for sports persons under or not under State Government, as per applicable rules.
