Retired Sportsperson Pension Scheme

The scheme "Retired Sportsperson Pension Scheme" by the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department, Government of Gujarat aims to recognize and support the contributions of state-level sportspersons who have won medals in national-level sports events by offering them a financial pension after the age of 50 years. The scheme ensures dignified post-retirement sustenance for these individuals, thereby encouraging younger generations to pursue sports professionally.
